EBNER FURNACES & ELETRICAL STEEL

EBNER will be putting a special focus on the subject of heat treatment facilities for electrical steel strips. The reason for this is the increasing demand with extraordinarily positive growth forecasts for electrical steel!

Recent studies have shown that electrical steel is going to play an increasingly crucial role.

On the one hand because it is used in the production of motors for hybrid and electric vehicles, which will replace a large proportion of internal combustion vehicles in the medium to long term. This will increase the demand for non grain-oriented (NGO) electrical steel.

On the other hand because it is used in the production of transformers, essential components of all power distribution networks, which are more and more complex and intelligent; this results in a growing need for grain-oriented (GO) electrical steel.

SEQUEM now represents GEGA

BÜLTMANN is pleased to invite you in its workshop in Neuenrade (Germany) where you can see a new tube production line, type RPL 050!
This equipment is available from April 15 to May 31, 2019.

BÜLTMANN invitation – Cast and peel

Peeling machine for aluminium bars

In April, our manufacturer BÜLTMANN welcomes you in its workshop in Neuenrade (Germany) where you can see a brand new peeling machine for aluminium bars SH 130 Al.
This equipment is available from April 1 to 26, 2019.

Cast billets peeling is a growing technology that dispenses you from the costly extrusion step for the production of forged products, often destined for the automotive industry. To learn more about the benefits of this solution, please download the BÜLTMANN AL-News.

The equipment comprises the peeling machine, type SH 130-Al, the handling devices, a testing device, a chip conveyor, an emulsion preparation and a suction unit.

Finished bar diameter 35 – 125 mm

Bar length 2,5 – 3,6 m

Installed capacity of hollow shaft 180 kW

Feed speed max. 25 m/min.

During the entire month of July, BÜLTMANN welcomes you to see a new tube production line (type RPL 080). This installation will be visible until August, 3rd 2018.

70 YEARS OF EBNER IN MOTION

If change is the only constant in our lives,

then movement is a constant of progress.

Under the motto “70 years of EBNER in motion”, an expert symposium including high-caliber international speakers and presentations will take place from September 11 – 13, 2018 at EBNER’s Leonding works.

In this event a mutual exchange of ideas and visions will take place and the future and the past will meet.

Our theme will be the future challenges that will be faced by manufacturers in the steel, aluminum and copper base metal industries. The main focus, however, will be upon “Future trends in mobility”.

Virtually every one of our facilities supports the mobility sector in one form or another. For example, EBNER facilities throughout the globe fulfill more than 80 % of the demand for aluminum automobile body sheet. With facilities for hot forming, EBNER is also active in the production of high-strength steels for the automotive sector. Over the course of the event, future developments in the mobility sector will be illuminated throughout the entire value-added chain, from end users and OEMs to EBNER and its suppliers.

We would recommend that you attend the entire two-and-a-half days of the symposium, as the presentations build upon one another. Alongside the expert symposium, there will of course be a program of activities for those accompanying you.
